Give to Lanka focuses on mitigating Chronic Kidney Disease Unknown (CKDu) in Sri Lanka by providing drinking water filters to affected areas where ground water has been contaminated due to over usage/uncontrolled of agrochemicals.
Phase I activities are to provide commercial drinking water filters with reverse osmosis capabilities. Phase II will provide simple water filters to target communities to purify water for other domestic uses and conduct user awareness programs in villages and in local schools.
